Mark Agnesi
was born in
Wadsworth
,
OH
in October of 1982. He was given his first guitar at the age of six
by his father and immediately took to learning everything he could
about the instrument. After only one year of lessons, Mark
decided to learn on his own. He learned the rock and roll
styling of Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Perry and
Keith Richards and the blues styling of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Albert
King, BB King, and Albert Collins.
By age ten, Mark was writing and recording his own songs, and by age
twelve, was signed to independent label Fortunate Records and
released his first full length album. Mark’s local
reputation began to grow throughout his teenage years and by age
eighteen left his home in
Ohio
to make it as a
studio ace in
Nashville
.
Mark attended
Belmont
University
majoring in Music Business, which allowed him
to focus both on learning how the industry works as well as keeping
his chops up for the studio. After four years in
Nashville
, Mark grew bored of studio sessions.
